Our research

研究组以半翅目-异翅亚目（Heteroptera）昆虫为研究材料，开展了昆虫形态学、分类学、系统发育和生物地理学等领域的研究，发表了一系列重要的基础创新研究成果，部分成果处于国际该领域的领先水平，受到同内外同行的高度正面评价。​​

1 昆虫分类学和形态学

Taxonomy & Morphology

       昆虫分类学和形态学方面，研究组广泛采集世界及中国地区的半翅目异翅亚目昆虫标本，目前馆藏干制和浸制标本共100余万号，发表科学上的新种110余种，此外还记载发现了大量中国的新纪录属种和许多重要类群的新的分布地点，基于模式标本纠正和澄清了超过50余种的误定，主要成果发表于昆虫分类学的国际权威期刊Zootaxa等。此外，研究组开展一系列半翅目异翅亚目昆虫胸部和腹部外部形态细微结构的研究，主要成果发表于昆虫形态学的国际期刊European Journal of Entomology等。
